Variable Adaptor Joint
( VA Joint ) is a device that provides a quick, leak free method of jointing
plain ended pipes for waterworks purpose.
The Variable Adaptor Joint shall be of the sleeve type, comprising a central
sleeve, two end rings, bolts & nut and rubber o-ring. The central
sleeve shall be constructed such that one end is larger than other, to
accommodate different outside diameter of the connected pipe. The Variable
Adaptor Joint shall be used for jointing plain-ended AC Pipe and uPVC
Pipe.
Where as, Detachable Joint ( DJ Joint ) shall be of sleeve type comprising
a straight central sleeve and two end rings, bolts & nuts and rubber
o-ring. Detachable Joint shall be used for connecting plain-ended uPVC
Pipe with same outside diameter. |
